Alma Anna Sophie (Oestmann) (Stutheit) Conradt

Alma Anna Sophie Oestmann was born to Henry G. and Emma (Bohling) Oestmann on July 18, 1914, west of Auburn, NE. She was baptized at the Hickory Grove Lutheran Church on August 2, 1914 by Rev. Theodore Streng. Alma was the youngest of 3 children. In the spring of 1920, she moved with her parents to a farm east of Elk Creek. They became members of Martin Luther Church, where she was confirmed on December 2, 1928 by Reverend William Fruehling.
She remained at home helping her parents until her marriage to Chester Sodman Stutheit on Oct. 16, 1934. They made their home on a farm south of Johnson, Nebraska. To this union , two children were born, Dolores and Herman. Chester and Alma were members of St. Paul's (Stutheit) Lutheran Church until its closing on December 17, 1957, when they became members of Martin Luther Church. They celebrated their 25th anniversary October 1959, and Chester passed away suddenly on November 22, 1959.  After Chester's death Alma moved to Lincoln to work. She was united in marriage to Albert W. Conradt on March 24, 1962. She and Albert lived near Tecumseh for a year and then moved to Alma's mother's farm near Elk Creek, In the spring of 1970, they moved to their home in Tecumseh, Nebraska.  Alma worked at the Campbell's Soup Company until her retirement October 1972. She became a member of Saint John's Lutheran Church, Tecumseh in 1973 and later transferred her membership back to Martin Luther Church, Johnson, Nebraska
Alma enjoyed gardening, flowers, handiwork of all kinds, piecing quilts and quilting. She joined the quilters group and helped when she was able. Her family enjoyed receiving gifts made by Alma.
Alma passed away June 24, 2006 at Belle Terrace in Tecumseh, at the age of 91 years, 11 months and 6 days.
She is survived by her daughter, Dolores Hahn of Lincoln and son, Herman H. Stutheit and wife Jeannette of Auburn, 6 grandchildren, Ramona Sanchez and husband Andy, Pamela Tejral and husband Tom, Barbara Martin, Curis Stutheit and wife Cathy. Kelly Rippe and husband Alan and Jenny Moerer and husband Lee, 14 great-grandchildren, Bryan Farmer and Dr. Brandon Farmer and fiancée Cari Hunzeker, Travis Tejral, Jason Tejran and wife Melissa, and Lucas Tejral and fiancée Gina Capoun, Felicia Martin, Brittany Stutheit and fiancé John Sharman and Camden Stutheit, Morgan and Melanie Moerer, Blake, Maura, Chrystine and Alyssa Rippe, 5 Great-Great Grandchildren, Michael, Brenden and Austin, sons of Travis Tejral, Thomas and Jonathan Tejral, sons of Jason Tejral. step-son Clifford Conradt and wife, Karen of Tecumseh, 3 step-grandchildren. 1 step-great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
Alma was preceded in death by her parents, 1st husband, Chester, 2nd husband Albert, brothers, Alvin and Gustav Oestmann, son-in-law, Lorraine Hahn and a grandson-in-law, Dan Martin.
