Susie E. Bliek, 84, of Marion died March 24, 1998.

She was predeceased by her husband, Peter A. Bliek.

Survived by two daughters, Susanna Stresing of

Mentor, Ohio; Johanna (Douglas) Williams;

two sons, Edwin (Marian) Bliek, Donald (Mary) Bliek,

LaVerne (Toni) Bliek all of Marion;

13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Interment Marion Cemetery.

Elwin (Al) Bliek, 68, Marion, died March 3, 2001.

Elwin was the president of Peter Bliek & Sons Inc.,

 where he was a grower and packer of potatoes and onions.

He is survived by his wife, Marian (DeWind) Bliek;

his son, Daniel (Amy) Bliek of Columbia, South Carolina;

and his daughter, Dianne (Timothy) Provo of Ontario; two grandchildren; two brothers, Donald (Mary) Bliek of Marion and La Verne (Toni) Bliek of Marion;

two sisters, Suzanna Stresing of Ohio and Johanna (Douglas) Williams of Marion; three brothers-in-law

 and three sisters-in-law; many nieces and nephews

 and Jim Putney.

He was predeceased by his parents,

Peter and Susie Bliek.

Johanna E. Williams

 

Marion - Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at the age of 67,

Passed away peacefully at her home with her devoted husband and children at her side. Predeceased by her parents, Peter and Susie Bliek; brother, Elwin Bliek

and brothers-in-law, Percy Stresing,

Richard Williams. Survived by her loving husband

of 49 years, Douglas E. Williams; children ,

John (Debbie) Williams, Cheryl (Marvin Jr.) De Fisher

and Steven (Kim) Williams; 10 grandchildren,

 Matthew, James, Michael and Garrett Williams,

Suzanna, Jacob and Abigail De Fisher Hanna, Kelly and Karoline Williams; sister Suzanne Stressing of Mentor, Ohio; brothers, Donald (Mary) Bliek of Marion

and La Verne (Toni) Bliek also of Marion;

 sister-in-law, Marion Bliek of Macedon;

brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Paige and Karen Stanton of Wolcott; many nieces, nephews,

 cousins and special friends.

Johanna was a life-long resident of Marion who was

happiest working along side her husband

and children on the family farm.

She was a very special person who was loved by many.

Her ever present smile will be missed by everyone.

 

The family would like to thank all the caregivers that

helped Johanna at home,

nurses, staff and special friends at

Clinton Crossings Dialysis center, especially

Dr. Melissa Schiff and her primary physician,

Dr. Wallace Johnson.

Funeral Services Saturday May 3, 2008 at

2:00 pm at the Second Reformed Church,

 Mill Street, Marion.
