Marjory McQueen

Funeral services for Marjory McQueen, age 78 of O'Neill, will be held Friday, October 10, 1997, 2:00 p.m., at the First Presbyterian Church

 in O'Neill. Rev. Neal Allen will officiate.

Pallbearers are Mark Ragland, Ryan Dygert, Shawn Scarrow,

Thomas Holley, Roger Hood and Ron Sobon.

Honorary pallbearers are T. J. Hood and Tyler Scarrow.

Interment is in the O'Neill Cemetery.

 Biglin's Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Marjory McQueen was born June 4, 1919, at Pawnee City, to George and Ida (Combs) Seigal and passed away Monday, October 6, at the St. Francis Hospital in Grand Island. She married Dale McQueen on February 14, 1936, at Pawnee City. She was a house parent for the Omaha Home for Boys, a foster parent and a homemaker.

Survivors include two daughters, Marjory Dygert of O'Neill and Jean Sabin of Gothenburg, nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren

and one brother, Charles Seigal of O'Neill.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband on May 13, 1989, seven brothers and sisters and two daughters.

Dale McQueen

Funeral services for Dale Norman McQueen, 77, O'Neill were held Tuesday morning, May 16, 1989 at Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill. Burial was in the O'Neill Cemetery. The Rev. James Miller officiated.

Pallbearers were Bradley Johnson, Tom Johnson, Rich Johnson, Tim Johnson, David Ragland and Tim Spiehs.

He was born May 6, 1912, at Albion to Fred and Vera (Carter) McQueen.

He married Marjory Seigal on February 14, 1936, at Pawnee City, Nebraska.

He had worked as a plumber in Pawnee City, Gothenburg, Pender and Council Bluffs, Iowa. After his retirement, he was a house parent at the Home for Boys in Omaha. He was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge.

He is survived by his wife, Marjory of O'Neill; two daughters, Marjory Dygert of O'Neill and Jean Sabin of Gothenburg, seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, three half-sisters, Florence Loveland of Denver, Mary Lou Reardon of St. Edward, Katherine Fritzes of Eagle, Colorado; five half-brothers, Jim Johnson of Manchester, Washington, Ralph Johnson of Lexington, Dick Johnson of Albion, Jack Johnson of Eureka, California and Don Johnson of Gretna.

He was preceded in death by his parents, step-father Samuel Johnson,

one sister Ruth Johnson and one brother Lee Johnson.
