He was born Aug. 11, 1975, in Golden Valley to Dean and Vickie (Wingert) Edman. He was a student at Central Lakes College.

Survivors include his father, Dean and Ann Edman, Deerwood; his mother, Vickie Edman, Plymouth; a sister, Jennifer Horst, Plymouth; and grandmother, Lucille Wingert, Cascade, Montana.

His grandparents, Andrew and Grace Edman and Ivan Wingert, died earlier.

Services will be 7 p.m. Thursday at Halvorson-Johnson Funeral Home in Brainerd with Pastor Juli Sutton-Deem officiating. Friends may call at Halvorson-Johnson Funeral Home from 5 p.m. Thursday until the service time. Memorials may be given to American Heart Association.

Services will also be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Mount Olivet Lutheran Church of Plymouth with Pastor John Strommen officiating. Burial will be in First Lutheran Cemetery of Kensington.
