PFC Gabriel K. Bailey was awarded a

Commendation Ribbon for meritorious achievement

while serving as a combat medic for the

1st Battalion 12th Field Artillery during Annual Training.  

PFC Bailey was instrumental in the care and welfare of the Firing Battery to including acting upon electrical fire

 which caused three soldiers chemical burns.

PFC Bailey's performance of duty reflects great credit upon himself,

the 127th field Artillery and the Kansas National Guard."
