Mrs. Mary Fink

 

Mrs. Mary Fink, 82, of 1380 Reeder Street, widow of John Fink, died Tuesday afternoon at 5:30 o'clock at the family home after a lingering illness.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Haudenshield Funeral Home, 1258 Main Street. The Rev. J. Nevin Lyerly will officiate. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Fink was born January 19, 1858, in Herkimer, New York, and came to Dubuque 53 years ago. She was married at the Reform Church, Zwingle, March 20, 1879. She was a member of Immanuel Congregational Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Charles (Anna) Smith, Mrs. Julius (Mae) Dress, and Mrs. Melvin (Eva) Ward; one sister, Mrs. Anna Broderidk of Chicago; two grandchildren and two nephews.

Her husband preceded her in death on October 3, 1927.

Fink - Departed this life on June 4, 1940 at 5:30 p.m. at the residence 1380 Reeder Street. Mrs. Mark Fink widow of John Fink, beloved mother of Mrs. Charles Smith (Anna), Mrs. Julius Dress (Mae), Mrs. Melvin Ward (Eva); beloved sister of Mrs. Anna Broderick; beloved grandmother of John and Milton Dress; beloved aunt of Clarence Hartman and Frank Offerman.

In her 83rd year.

The body is resting at the Haudenshield Funeral Home, 1258 Main Street from where the funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock by the Rev. J. Nevin Lyerly, pastor of the Immanuel Congregational Church, Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery.
