Later the family lived for short periods in Minnesota and near Huron, and in 1909 came to Butte county, settling on a homestead where they have resided almost continuously since.

Three years ago when Mrs. Fink's health failed, they moved to Newell and last fall she went to Los Angeles, California, where she spent several months with her sister, in hopes of regaining her health. But failing this she returned in January to the home of her son, where she passed away.

Mrs. Fink was a loyal friend and fine neighbor and will be greatly missed by a host of friends.

She is survived by her widower, Nick Fink, and one son, Glenn, both of Mason; three grandchildren, Glenn Jr., Mary Lou and Gary Fink; a sister, Mrs. Irwin E. Cane, of Los Angeles, and a brother, "Butch" Welty of Kansas; other relatives and a large number of friends.
