The alter decorated with large rainbow gladioli, daisies, carnations and roses, was appointed on either side by spiral candelabra entwined with colorful mums and carnations. At the tolling of the bell the candles were lighted by Tammy Moerer, and Pam Kracke. Lighted hurricane lamps with large rainbow colored bows marked the pews. Lighted multicolored candles accented the windows.

The brides, given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, appeared in a traditional white floor length gown of chantilly lace. The fitted lace bodice featured a high lace collar. The bouffant skirt was designed with a long lace peplum in front with tiers of lace and nylon net in back. This dress was worn by the brides mother at her wedding. The bride's three tier fingertip veil was held in place by a lace plateau and was made by the bride.

The groomsmen were Larry Bando, brother-in-law of the groom, Tim Alberts, brother of the bride, Lynn Geyer and Alan Rippe. Each of the groomsmen wore white jackets with black velvet lapels and black trousers, with shirts matching the bridesmaids dresses.

A lace table cloth over blue covered the serving table, which was centered with a large wedding cake. Two sets of staircases and a bridge connecting the side cakes above the fountain which flowed with blue water, featured all the wedding party descending the stairs from the miniature bride and groom on the top divider and was topped with a silver cross.
