Phillips County Hospital Long Term Care, Phillipsburg

Mrs. Merklein was born October  24, 1911, in Phillips County

to Arthur J. and Margaret C. (Fritsch) Beckman.

 She was a homemaker.

Her husband, Carl G., died in 1978.

Survivors include two brothers, Harold Beckman of Phillipsburg and Emil Beckman of Lincoln, Nebraska

The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Stuttgart.

Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Phillipsburg.

Memorials may be made to the church or Phillips County Hospital Long Term Care

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, 1115 Second, Phillipsburg 67661.
