International Harvester produced the Farmall M from 1939 to 1952. It was a very popular tractor, with over 250,000 tractors sold. The Farmall M was the largest row crop tractor at the time that International Harvester made. In 1941 International Harvester introduced the MD. There was a diesel version of the M. It would start on gasoline and then when warmed up switched over to diesel. It had a 248 cid 4 cylinder engine with a 6 volt electrical system. The Farmall M had 5 forward gears and 1 reverse gear. There were 270,140 M's produced from 1939 to 1952.
