Sarah M. Brush Adcock Age - 27 years, 8 Months
Mrs. Sarah M. Adcock, wife of Lee Adcock, and a daughter of Major and Mrs. J. W. Brush, of this city died at her home two and a half west of Peru, Wednesday, June 6th, of consumption, aged 27 years and 8 months .
Deceased had been sick for some time and while her death was not unexpected, it was a great shock to her relatives and friends, She leaves a husband, three children, father, mother, three sisters and four brothers to mourn her early demise.
Mrs. Adcock was a devoted member of the Christian church. The funeral took place Friday, Reverend Chamberlain of the Christian church of Nemaha City preaching the funeral sermon, and her remains were interred in the London cemetery, followed to the grave by a large concourse of relatives and friends.
